July 25, 2012 - Received lots of pictures and videos of Malachi and Mercy! So thankful!
July 24, 2012 - 9 French documents came through telling us that if we move to Africa today, Mercy and Malachi are Hatfields!
July 8-July 23 - Waiting on paperwork to be received and processed.
July 3, 2012 - Home Study completed (at midnight, but complete!)
June 16, 2012 - Received a call that Mercy and Malachi are in the hospital with Malaria and Typhoid.
June 8, 2012 - Got initial measurements and health report on Malachi.
May 22, 2012 - Jilma calls with a precious 2-year old girl and we are in love!
May 12, 2012 - Jilma calls to introduce us to a 3-year old little guy. We were immediately in love! First time to see Malachi’s face.
May 12, 2012 - Adoption Training Class at A New Beginning
May 10, 2012 - Online orientation webinar, required to begin the process.
May 9, 2012 - Lunch with a school friend who adopted 2 from Ethiopia. Love that she shares her heart without any sugar-coating.
May 5, 2012 - Dinner with another incredible family who adopted from Ethiopia. This family is a wealth of wisdom and we are incredibly grateful for them!
April 14, 2012 - Dinner with our incredible caseworker, Kim Rutland and her family. This evening our decision was even more confirmed.
April 7, 2012 - Blessed to be accepted by an amazing attorney named Jilma.
April 4, 2012 - Walked into the Adoption Agency’s door.
