Yes the wait is long....

On Tuesday night, May 22nd, we got the call that there is a little 2  year-old girl for us to consider to adopt. We got her picture that night, shared it with our kids and began praying and falling in love. Tonight we got the email allowing us to decide if we would like to proceed with adopting this precious little girl.

We said, "YES!"

Mercy will be joining our family!

Now we pray for our kids in Africa with their faces on our phones, as the wallpaper on our computers, and etched in our minds! Our hearts are overflowing with love for Malachi and Mercy. Our kids are beside themselves with joy! God's plan is perfect and His timing amazing! Tonight, I sat across the room from a sweet friend who is expecting and should have her baby any day now. At that moment, I realized that although the wait until we can bring them home is seemingly long, I believe we will have them home in less time than going through pregnancy. It will be so soon!
